The microscope is owned by IFPEN, which has made it partially available to CLYM members.
The JEOL 2100 microscope is equipped with a Schottky field emission gun and a High Resolution pole piece, with 0.21 nm point resolution. A 'STEM' device enables simultaneous acquisition of Light Field and Annular Dark Field images, with a point resolution of 0.22 nm.
The microscope is aligned at 120 kV and 200 kV and equipped with an Ultrascan 1000 2k camera (Gatan).
